Fresh Conch, Nassau Bahamas

When you come to the Bahamas, almost every local restaurant you visit, you’ll come across “Conch” and “Kalik” beer, which I highly recommend you try.

Everything from a Conch salad to fritters to even a sandwich is amazing and you’ll want to eat conch everyday you’re there. If you only have time for one dish, I highly recommend the fritters and salad (with the Kalik beer on the side).

Bahamian Club, Atlantis Bahamas

During our last night at the Bahamas, my friends and I decided to treat ourselves to a nice restaurant. We decided to check out Bahamian Club.

We ordered some champaign to cheers to the end of our spring break trip. The main course was pretty good, but the highlight of this meal was the dessert (see bottom right photo).

The chocolate brownie was nice and warm, the vanilla ice-cream with the caramel twist would melt in your mouth. This was definitely the highlight of the course, and I’d go back in a heartbeat just for this brownie dish.

Bangkok, Thailand

What an incredible experience. It’s been on my bucket list to travel to Bangkok for a while.

I was always fascinated by the culture and history, so when we were able to make the my next family vacation to Bangkok, I was ecstatic. I couldn’t wait to walk the streets, visit malls, the local shops, and of course the touristy-rich-cultured-locations too.

The architecture was incredible and absolutely breathtaking. These photos definitely doesn’t do justice.

One of the highlights from this trip has to be when I turned to my mom and brother and chuckled that we in “boat traffic”. We were neck to neck with the people next to us. It was fascinating how these floating market functioned and how quickly the business exchange took place.

What an incredible exeperience.

Kyoto, Japan

Out of all the places I’ve been to in Japan, Kyoto was probably my favorite spot.

There was so much culture and I felt much more at peace and calm when touring this city. I didn’t feel like we had to be constantly on the go, feeding off of others’ energy.

We were able to stroll the city and take-in the culture. There’s still so much to see here, so I’ll have to make it a point to come back here soon.

Disneyland, Tokyo

It used to be on my bucket-list to visit every Disneyland in the world, so of course we had to stop by Disneyland, Tokyo.

Out of all Disney themed parks I’ve been to, the one in Tokyo was the most overwhelming place. The park felt extremely overcrowded, the lines were ridiculous, and because the park was small, we were able to cover all ground in one day.

Shibuya, Japan

Shibuya’s fish market, you have stole my heart with your incredible fresh chirashi and salmon and tuna sashimi.

We stopped by the fish market for lunch and it was the best and fresh salmon I have ever had in my life. We went during the off hours, so business wasn’t as hectic as it would be in the morning, but people were still lining up at different shops to get their fresh sashimi fix.

Honolulu & Maui, Hawaii

I now see why people love Hawaii.

The weather is always incredible, the beach is right there, and the down-to-earth-stress-free vibe is something I can’t complain about. I don’t think I could ever see myself living here, but I’d come here in a heartbeat for vacation, it just sucks that it’s so far from the east coast. Hawaii, you stole my heart. I will have to come back again soon.
